Acacia Water opens a branch office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!

We are very proud to announce our company registration in Ethiopia! After more than 10 years of active engagement in specifically groundwater and IWRM related projects in Ethiopia and neighbouring countries, it is time to take a next step.

Water resources are scarce in the Horn of Africa region, which asks for hydrological expertise in the broadest sense. Our specialists are motivated to work from the heart of Ethiopia to improve access to safe and clean water and contribute to sustainable development. Our focus areas are groundwater mapping and development, IWRM, Nature Based Solutions, community resilience, socio-economics, water governance and capacity building. We work for a wide variety of clients, including governments, NGO’s, private sector, and directly for donors. Together with our Ethiopian colleagues we are ready for our new adventure and starting new projects and initiatives.
